Collection: Finca El Pergamino

Finca El Pergamino is the rising star of Panamanian specialty coffee. At Best of Panama 2026, producer Yaneth de Lucich took 2nd place in the Geisha Washed category with 96.00 points — a quarter of a point behind the winner and ahead of the legendary Hacienda La Esmeralda, in the tightest Geisha Washed finish in years.

The farm sits high in the Tierras Altas district of Chiriquí, in the cool, misty highlands between Volcán and Cerro Punta, at roughly 1,800 to 2,000 meters above sea level. Rich volcanic soil and a slow-ripening cloud-forest microclimate produce Geisha of remarkable clarity — lifted florals, bergamot, bright citrus, and a silky, tea-like body. Unlike the century-old dynasties it now competes with, El Pergamino is a newer family farm, which makes its blind-cupped podium finish all the more remarkable.

Every coffee here is sourced fresh directly from the producer in Panama and delivered worldwide in 5 days, with free shipping over $70. Read the full story of the 2026 competition in our Best of Panama guide.
