Geisha Cascara from Elida Estate is the sun-dried skin of the same Geisha coffee cherries that have made the Lamastus Family famous worldwide. Instead of the bean, you brew the fruit: a naturally sweet, caffeinated infusion with notes of hibiscus, honey, raisin and a delicate floral finish that unmistakably says Geisha.

How to brew cascara

Steep it like a tea: about 8 grams (2 tablespoons) per 250 ml of water just off the boil, for 4 to 5 minutes. It also makes a beautiful cold brew — steep overnight in the fridge and serve over ice with a squeeze of lime. Lightly caffeinated, so it works morning or afternoon.
